Is it necessary or not for a child, music and violin?

My daughter is a violin school in music school. I would like to ask, perhaps, why it is necessary? Why did they give it to the violin? I just noticed that she can’t sing well, that is, to tone properly. And for a girl not to be able to sing, it’s ugly. And the violin, like no other instrument, contributes to the development of musical hearing. And in combination with the classes on Solfeggio gives the result - a good pure, beautiful, melodic musical singing. That’s one reason.

Second. I don’t see the second reason yet. Well, maybe that’s who I am, and you’re going to love the sound of the violin. Although, the actual sound after the beginning of classes begins in four years. The rest of the time are unpleasant sounds.

In general, the violin is remarkable because it is convenient to practice. Not like a bayan or a double bass. It’s small. I got up, got it, played, hid it. Not too loud, like a pipe. In terms of musical art, the violin is the most complex instrument. But in the beauty of sound it is inferior only to the human voice. It is the most perfect tool created by man. If you strive for perfection, then play the violin must be necessary. Sherlock Holmes knew how to play the violin. That’s right, by the way.

Only an adult will not be able to learn how to own a violin, so you need to start with childhood. If you are interested in the development of a child as a person, then you may well give it to engage in this tool. Violinists, they are always more advanced as musicians, compared to the rest. True, pianists are also well-in-command of general musical literacy, but in terms of composer’s art, playing melodies by ear, violinists have no equal. Such is the specificity of the tool that these skills develop in the best way.

Of course, the left-hander will be a better violinist than a right-hander. The main complexity and responsibility for the beauty of music here in the left hand. The same thing happens for guitarists. If you have thought about what instrument to give to learn a child, then consider as a version of the violin, but not the only one, because along with the pros there are also disadvantages. Many children suffer in the process of learning, because they do not see the result at once in the form of a beautiful sound, it is difficult for them to force themselves to engage. Another thing is the piano, the trumpet, the flute.

But if you are interested in the education in a child of a particularly subtle aesthetic and musical taste, the violin is just what you need. In addition, violinists are usually good pianists. Although, the piano for violinists is taught as an additional instrument, but, thanks to the excellent overall musical development, they manage to reach a high level and play the piano. Violinist can easily learn to play the guitar - this is also an undoubted plus.

I hope I’ve presented you with a pretty complete picture, and you won’t change your mind to give your child a learning curve. I wish you could do it.
